Search Engine with privacy in mind Seb

Tempest is a company on a mission to help you enjoy more privacy in your digital life.

One of the solutions that Tempest is building is a browser that respects user's privacy, while still maximizing performance and convenience.

The rapid expansion of online tracking, aggressive advertising, and data harvesting practices has raised significant privacy issues for internet users. Conventional browsers lack transparency in displaying the extent of invasive content being blocked, leaving users in the dark about the true impact of their privacy settings.

Challenge

Tempest Browser needed to integrate robust privacy features without overwhelming users. The main challenge was to create a Privacy Panel that gave users control over their data while maintaining an easy-to-use interface, especially for non-technical users. The solution also had to adapt to future privacy demands and regulations.

Solution

We designed a privacy-centric browser that allows users to adjust the intensity of tracking prevention, giving them control over the balance between privacy and functionality. We also developed a real-time panel that shows which invasive threats—ads, trackers, and cookies—are being blocked, reinforcing the users’ sense of safety while browsing.
